A fresh and aromatic blend of: Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Chardonnay sourced from top vineyards across Niagara. This slightly rich, medium-bodied white wine has a smooth yet refreshing mouthfeel, and flavours of melon, pear, and citrus.
WINE PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
Serve with scallops and shrimp; roasted turkey; crab cakes; lobster and crab salads. Try with gourmet white pizza or a cheese plate.

Harvested between September 30 and October 11 from long-standing growers for Trius Winery and estate owned vineyards within the Niagara Peninsula. 35.6% Riesling (Clark Farm and Estate vineyards), 32.9% Pinot Gris (Lawrie Vineyard), 20.5% Gewurztraminer (Clark Farm and Carlton vineyards), and 11% Chardonnay (Huebel Vineyard). A portion of the Riesling was fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and aromatics; a small portion of Gewurztraminer and Riesling from our estate farms (Clark Farm and Carlton vineyards) were co-fermented, then aged in a large wood fermenter; the Chardonnay and Pinot Gris were fermented and aged in older French oak barrels for building structure and mouth-feel. The individual wines were tasted by our winemaker to choose the assemblage that best showcased each varietal before the final blending.
A bright straw yellow colour with many layers of fruit and floral notes from each of the varietals. Pure clean fresh notes of melon, Bartlett pear, citrus, lychee nut and tropical fruit mingle with floral, spice, and delicate oak notes. An aromatic and flavourful white wine. This slightly rich, medium-bodied white wine has a smooth yet refreshing mouthfeel, and flavours of melon, pear, and citrus. Refreshing notes of citrus, apple, white cranberry, and a touch of tropical fruit linger on the finish.
Serve at a slightly cool 12 to 14°C. Serve with simply prepared scallops and shrimp; roasted turkey breast on crusty rolls with aioli; cold poached salmon appetizer; crab cakes; lobster and crab salads; breaded freshwater fish. Try with gourmet white pizza topped with caramelized onions, mozzarella cheese, smoked grilled chicken and zucchini. Serve with a cheese platter of Oka, Swiss, Gruyere and Emmenthal. Drink young and fresh.
