WINE MAKING
Harvested from long standing growers for Peller Estates, Huebel and Fruithaven vineyards, within the Four Mile Creek sub-appellation. 100% of the juice was barrel fermented, then aged for 10 months in 100% French oak barriques (a mix of new and older oak). No malolactic fermentation, therefore preserving a touch of fresh acidity.

FLAVOUR PROFILE
Clear and bright with a straw yellow hue and a wonderful bouquet of red apple, melon, tropical fruit, and orange creamsicle, with delicate notes of barrel spice and oak. This Chardonnay is medium-bodied, fruit-forward, with balancing acidity. Flavours of melon, pear, and apple glide across the palate. Apple, pear, quince, and subtle notes of vanilla bean, spice, and oak mingle together on the lingering finish.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Serve not overly chilled at 14 to 16ºC. Enjoy with battered fish fillets; roast chicken; creamy lobster risotto; creamy pasta tossed with seafood; grilled cedar-plank salmon; grilled salmon burgers; buttermilk fried chicken; potato, leek gratin; grilled Dijon crusted pork chops; turkey pot pies; buttered squash; cream-based soups; buttery potato dishes; smoked Gouda and creamy aged cheeses.
