The grapes were gently pressed and the juice was cool fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve the fresh fruit characters.
Clear and bright with an aroma of apple, pear and honeydew melon. This light to medium-bodied wine is smooth and easy, with flavours of apple, green pear and a touch of orange.
Serve chilled at 9 to 11°C. Hochtaler is an everyday ‘house wine’ for casual sipping. Enjoy with baked fillets of fish; fish and chips; roast chicken; breaded chicken fingers; grilled turkey breast; light summer salads; veggie burgers; hummus with pita chips; mild cheeses. Drink young and fresh.
