A medium-bodied, smooth, slightly rich VQA Chardonnay with flavours of apple, tropical fruit, and melon. With a touch of balancing acidity, this oaked white wine is round, creamy yet refreshing on the finish.

This Ontario Chardonnay made in Niagara is a fabulous sipping Chardonnay for everyday enjoyment. Even better when paired with roast chicken, mac and cheese, poached fish and corn on the cob.
  • WINE MAKING
    Premium Chardonnay grapes were harvested from long-standing growers for Trius Winery. After a gentle pressing the juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks, then aged for 7 months with French and American oak.

    FLAVOUR PROFILE
    Clear and bright with a straw-yellow hue and a bouquet of yellow apple, custard, Meyer lemon, and subtle oak and spice. A light to medium-bodied, smooth, slightly rich Chardonnay. Flavours of orchard fruits and spice develop on the palate. A balancing touch of acidity refreshes on the finish, along with flavours of ripe apple, pear, spice, and oak.

    SERVING SUGGESTIONS
    Serve lightly chilled at 13 to 15°C, to enhance the richer profile. Fabulous sipping Chardonnay for every day. Serve with chicken wraps; chicken pot pies; roast chicken; turkey on focaccia with creamy mayo; light cream sauces on pasta or seafood; Mac and cheese; grilled whitefish; breaded fish fillet with baked potato; poached salmon; salmon quiche; buttered corn-on-the-cob; buttered new potatoes.
