Our Ontario crafted Sparkling Secco features tiny bubbles that dance in your mouth. this light and crisp wine is inspired by Prosecco but made locally here in Niagara just for you. With flavours of juicy peach, pear and hints of apple, serve chilled with cajun dishes, cheesy appetizers and summer fresh salads. Great as a Mimosa too!

  • PINK CLINK SPARKLING GRAPEFRUIT COCKTAIL
    You can make this Secco Bubbles cocktail at home. You'll need:
    1.5 ounces grapefruit rosemary simple syrup
    1.5 ounces grapefruit juice
    3 ounces Peller Family Reserve Secco sparkling wine Grapefruit slice and rosemary, for garnish


    Directions: 1. Add grapefruit syrup + juice into a cocktail mixer. Shake and strain. 2. Top with sparkling wine. 3. Add garnish, then serve and enjoy.

    WINE MAKING
    A ‘Charmat Method’ sparkling wine.  Harvested from long-standing growers for Peller Estates that are Sustainable Winegrowing Ontario Certified. Vidal (56.1%), Chardonnay (16.5%), Muscat Ottonel (14.9%), and Gewurztraminer (12.5%), are blended together to create a distinctive cuvée blend, and then fermented for a second time in a closed tank to produce the bubbles.  The wine is then clarified, a dosage is added, then the wine is bottled under pressure to preserve the bubbles.

    FLAVOUR PROFILE
    A clear and bright sparkling wine with tiny persistent bubbles. Fresh aromas of white peach, Bartlett pear, red apple, and a touch of tropical fruit and floral notes rise from the glass. The off dry mouthfeel comes alive with refreshing bubbles and flavours of ripe orchard fruits. Refreshing citrus, green apple, and tropical fruit flavours linger on the dry-ish finish.

    SERVING SUGGESTIONS
    Serve at a cool 8 to 10°C. Enjoy while dining alfresco, for everyday refreshment, and when friends gather. Serve with your favourite cuisine including poached or baked salmon; crab cakes; sweet potato fries with spiced mayo dipping sauce; roasted chicken; spiced shrimp skewers; pork tenderloin with apricot glaze; baked ham; creamy Brie, and Camembert cheese. Drink young and fresh.
