A deliciously bold Cabernet Merlot, this Peller Family Reserve red blend is a blend of: Cabernet Franc (44.6%), Merlot (39.7%), Cabernet Sauvignon (7.4%), Zweigelt (4.3%), and Dornfelder (4%).
A medium-bodied and fruit-forward Cabernet Merlot with smooth tannins and flavours of red and black berries, plum, and cherry, which also linger on the finish with an added note of spice and oak. Pair with grilled red meats; pepperoni pizza; gourmet burgers; bean stews; tomato lasagna and Portobello burgers.

Traditional red wine making. An assemblage of Cabernet Franc (44.6%), Merlot (39.7%), Cabernet Sauvignon (7.4%), Zweigelt (4.3%), and Dornfelder (4%). Subtle French and American oak integration for added depth of flavour and a full malolactic fermentation to soften the mouthfeel.
FLAVOUR PROFILE
Deep garnet in colour with a bouquet of currant, dark plum, tobacco leaf, and subtle oak and spice. A medium-bodied and fruit-forward Cabernet Merlot with smooth tannins and flavours of red and black berries, plum, and cherry, which also linger on the finish with an added note of spice and oak.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Serve at a cool room temperature of 16 to 18°C. Serve with grilled red meats; prime rib on focaccia; pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza; meat pies; beef wraps; gourmet burgers; bean stews; meaty lasagna; Portobello burgers; 1-year aged Canadian Cheddar. Drink now through 2023.
