Yield: 4-6 servings

1 can chickpeas, drained
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
salt and pepper to taste

Put all ingredients in a food processor or a blender to blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with toasted pitas.
